We had a fantastic stay, and thoroughly loved Cow Byre 1!
It’s hard to pick out just one thing we loved about the cottage, but I think it would have to be the decor/style of the place! Rosie referred to it as the Cow House!
I think the layout, provisions etc were incredibly well thought out, and whilst we didn’t do any cooking particularly, we could see there was everything we could have needed.
Rosie loved borrowing the cow teddy (she called him Moo) for our stay too. It’s touches like this that make you stand out, and we felt very welcome. The Games Room and play area were a real bonus. We didn’t spend much time there as we had long days out exploring the area, but it was lovely to have a go at playing pool, and there was plenty there for all ages.
We hope to be able to return sometime in the future – it’s a beautiful part of the country and there is so much to do that we couldn’t fit it all in!
